Elephant - Dodgy Clutch Theatre Company

The touring company Dodgy Clutch recently came to Cheltenham Everyman Theatre with its amazing show ELEPHANT - "a visual feast with a powerful African theme, the performers from the UK and South Africa come together in a multi talented company of actors, dancers and musicians."

One of the more unusual presences on stage is an elaborate life-size body puppet of an elephant! Lebo Mokomele is one of the people responsible for bringing the Elephant to life on stage but the sheer weight of the puppet and the strain of manipulating it was taking its toll. Lebo visited the Back2toes Clinic next to the Everyman Theatre with an aching back and painful legs, particularly the knees. She was able to return to the theatre with a spring in her step to continue with the performances and later sent a text to say thankyou.
